What goals do your characters hope to achieve while in this world? Will they research the past, will they ally themselves with the citizens, will they become the heroes that the wastes so sorely need? This post is a declaration of intent. This post will serve to keep tabs on what characters are doing what and will make it easier for us to both keep track of what characters are doing what, as well as inform the characters of what loot and information they will be gaining. And, if they're lucky, what sub-events they might unlock.

For example, if your character begins doing a lot of side-missions posted on the board then they will begin to be noticed and allowed to choose bigger and better jobs. Or, perhaps their skills will be noticed by someone with less than honorable alliances. Your character could easily become a paragon of good, or have the opportunity to begin slinking into the shady underworld.

Or, for another. If they were to research the world then they could discover it's lore. Through months of study, they begin to uncover the strangeness of the species. They could learn their weaknesses and be prepared for what is to come - or they could stumble upon a secret far larger than themselves and end up in a world of trouble. The possibilities are endless!

The outcomes are decided through an Random Number Generator. We are not opposed to hearing input and will gladly work in suggestions, but for the sake of fairness everyone has the same chances for great success or great failure.

WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER DOING: For the most part, she's monster hunting, girl's gotta get paid. I don't know if Orsun even has libraries, but I would've assumed not. Nonetheless, she'll be taking in all the information she can, especially anything related to prolonging the survival of the people she cares about.
TIME DEDICATED: Pretty near constant!
WHAT DO THEY HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH: Collecting the resources, be they money, goods, or information, to keep her brood alive. Yes, they're her brood now.

Congratulations! Thanks to all of your hard work you have accrued an additional month's worth of food and surplus metals to repair your home. However, these items were not given out of kindness but out of fear. The locals will no longer approach you alone. However, you have earned a reputation as a warrior and are being given more dangerous jobs.

Along with that, you learn a little of the town's history. While the residents of Orsun and Orsa originally lived together peacefully, some began to change due to drinking the water and were eventually removed. The sun is also known to cause mutations and leaving even purified water in it makes it undrinkable. The more water you drink, the less "human" you become. There is no means to purify the water in the city.

Not that the townspeople think it is a problem for you.

WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER DOING: Gathering information and attempting to locate anyone that understands or remembers why people are brought here. He's also monster hunting and looking for mechanical scrap.
TIME DEDICATED: Six hours every day to both tasks.
WHAT DO THEY HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH: His far-fetched dream is to repair the transporter to send them home.

CITY: Orsun
WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER DOING: Madoka is studying first aid in greater detail than she did before. Especially after the monster battles. She also does street sweeping for a job to bring some more income into the household.
TIME DEDICATED: At least six hours a week.
WHAT DO THEY HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH Just to learn enough to help.

CHARACTER NAME: Suzaku Kururugi
CITY: Orsa
WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER DOING: Various odd jobs for local shop owners in order to earn food. He's happy to help with any sort of maintenance repairs as best he can as well as playing delivery boy, whatever people general need. If monsters seem to be an immediate threat at any point he's also glad to make quick work of them, though otherwise won't go out of his way to go on hunts.

During this he fishes for information from the people he's helping out
TIME DEDICATED: Does this daily since his arrival from the time he wakes up until it gets dark and he clocks out.
WHAT DO THEY HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH: He's trying to learn more about the forces that brought him to this world and what people might know that can help him leave more than anything. He's sort of trying to let people get to know him in hopes they'll be willing to be more open with information, but also genuinely trying to help improve things for them. Plus he needs SOME way to earn food and keep.
